Alexander Savage ``Alex'' Hargroves III, 52, died Jan. 21, 1995.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine F. Hargroves; one daughter, Elizabeth ``Beth'' M. Hargroves of Lilburn, Ga.; one son, Alexander ``Lex'' S. Hargroves IV of Virginia Beach; one sister, Margarette H. Bartlett of Chesapeake; one brother, Herbert F. Hargroves of Richmond, Va.; two stepsons, Brandon S. Elliott and Donald C. Elliott, both of Virginia Beach; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Holloman-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel. Burial will be private at a later date. The family will be at his home in Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad or your favorite charity.
