Peter Paul ``Pete'' Dondero, 73, of Virginia Beach, died Jan. 21, 1995.
Mr. Dondero was a native of White Plains, N.Y. He was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church. He was retired from Star of the Sea Catholic School and Church after 27 years of service. He was a member of Knights of Columbus 4632 and member of the Fourth Degree.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda S. Dondero with who he enjoyed 50 happy years of marriage; two sons, Peter John Dondero and Paul Henry Dondero, all of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Stanley Dondero of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Vincent Dondero of Hollywood, Fla. and John Dondero of Valhalla of New York; one sister, Mary Rose MacDonald of Palatka, Fla. and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Tuesday evening at 7 p.m, Jan. 24, 1995 at Star of the Sea Catholic Church Gymnasium by the Rev. Paul Gaughan. There will be a private burial at Woodlawn Cemetery Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1995. There will be a rosary service in the funeral home Monday evening at 7 p.m. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Star of the Sea Catholic Church Building Fund.
