Mae Lena Jordan of the 1400 block of Old Virginia Beach Road, died Jan. 21, 1995.
She was born in Nansemond County.
Survivors include her husband, James Jordan Sr.; four daughters, Lena Grimstead, Minnie Williams, Bernice Cox and Bernett Owens, all of Virginia Beach; two sons, James Jordan Jr. of Virginia Beach and Thomas L. Jordan of Chesapeake; a brother, Cleveland Allen of Suffolk; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law; four sons-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in New Jerusalem COGIC, Virginia Beach, by Elder John Coston. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, is handling arrangements.
