Leeman Roy Roberson, 65, of Route 1, a retired truck driver, died Jan. 24, 1995, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
Mr. Roberson was born in Martin County, N.C., and was the widower of Catherine Mullen Roberson. He was a member of Holly Spring Baptist Church, Cofield, and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include two sisters, Ann Mitchell of Ahoskie and Kay Brennen of Clinton, Ill.; and two brothers, Melvin L. Roberson of Suffolk and Alvin E. Roberson of Ahoskie.
A funeral will be conducted at 2p.m. Thursday in Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, by the Rev. Thomas Lamm. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and will assemble at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Thursday prior to services. Memorial donations may be made to Winton Rescue Squad, Winton, N.C. 27986.
