Edward Lewis Pieroni, 74, of Fiske Street, a retired data processing supervisor, died Jan. 23, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Pieroni was born in Portsmouth. He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard, was a Catholic and a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Mae Pieroni; a son and his wife, Edward L. Pieroni, Jr. and Diana of Chesapeake; two brothers and their wives, Carl J. Pieroni and Phyllis and Richard V. Pieroni and Pastora, all of Chesapeake; two grandsons, Brian E. Pieroni and his wife Jana and Jamie L. Pieroni, all of Chesapeake; a great-grandson, Brennan C. Pieroni of Chesapeake; three nieces and three nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Olive Branch Cemetery by Father Joseph S. Slowik. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Maryview Wellsprings Hospice.
