Two student-produced radio programs on Elizabeth City State University's WRVS will be honored Feb. 4 at The Echoes of Excellence Ceremony in Norfolk.
``WRVS 89.9 Sports Scope'' and ``A Brother's Dialogue'' were recognized as outstanding programs for the second, consecutive year by The Hampton Roads Black Media Professionals
``Sports Scope'' airs at 6 p.m. Fridays and highlights ECSU's athletic programs. The three-minute ``A Brother's Dialogue'' is broadcast at 6:25 a.m., 12:25 p.m. and 9:25 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and deals with community concerns relative to the plight of the African-American male.
The awards show will be held at 5 p.m. at the Harrison Opera House in Norfolk. by CNB
