James Sydney Cobb Jr., 84, of Church St., died Jan. 26, 1995, in his home.
A native of Craigsville, Va., he was the son of the late Rev. James Sydney Cobb Sr. and Agnes Alvis Cobb and the widower of Virginia Wills Bailey Cobb. He was a member of Windsor Baptist Church and was a retired welder with Union Camp.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Virginia Smith of Kalamazoo, MI; two sons, J. Len Cobb of Richmond and Charles S. Cobb of Cary, N.C.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. James B. Crocker. The family will be at the home. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Rescue Squad, 19 E. Windsor Blvd., Windsor, Va. 23487. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
