Regarding ``Are abortion foes practicing adoption?'' (letter, Jan. 20): It seems that Connie Hannah, vice president of Tidewater NOW, does not quite understand that the pro-life movement has committed itself to making sure that the innocent children will have a life. Furthermore, most of the organizations that are involved in the pro-life movement are committed to promoting family values and teaching morality as well.
We have taken on the nearly impossible task of turning around the liberal attitudes toward sex of the past 30 years. If we could teach young people to keep their pants on, then the slaughter of innocent children would all but disappear.
Also, regarding the current use of the term ``anti-choicers'' when referring to the pro-life movement: When it comes to the choice of whether or not a human life is to be extinguished, only one has the right to make that choice - Almighty God.
