I am shocked at the recent deaths of two innocent people at the hands of a drunken driver. That man had no right to be out on the road. Our legal system is to be blamed for letting this man out on bond.
A record of DUIs that dated back to 1976 was not enough. Two innocent lives had to be lost.
Honest, hard-working citizens would not mind paying a little more in taxes to get these ``criminals'' off the streets and make this a safer place for everyone.
When are we going to put the victims first? ``Criminals'' have no rights. They lost their rights the moment they decided that the laws did not include them.
