Mrs. Grace O. Nicosia, 100, died on Thursday, Feb. 2, 1995. She was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and a Peninsula resident for 60 years.
Mrs. Nicosia was a member of St. Vincents De Paul Catholic Church for more than 50 years.
Survived by two daughters, Carmelina Wilson of Newport News and Antoinette Lupia of Virginia Beach; three sons, Santo Branchina of Hampton, Joseph Nicosia of Poquoson and Salvatore Nicosia Jr. of Hampton; her sister, Anna Rosso of Hampton; forty-six grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A Christian wake service will be held 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Peninsula Funeral Home with visitation following until 8:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to American Cancer Society, which is Mrs. Nicosia's favorite charity, 303 Butler Farm Suite 106A, Hampton, Va. 23666. Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge.
