The Rev. Tim Drake, left, of St. Matthew's Catholic Church and
Bishop Walter F. Sullivan greet guests after the dedication of the
new gym at St. Matthew's Catholic School in Sherry Park, off Indian
River Road in Virginia Beach. The gym was dedicated Tuesday by
Bishop Walter Sullivan. Fund-raising for the 6,000-square-foot
facility began three years ago. Donations and PTA projects have
raised $200,000. The school has 530 students in pre-kindergarten
through eighth grade.
