Hazel Heckman Morris, 79, died Feb. 4, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Morris was born in Bern, Pa. She had retired from the retail clothing business and was the widow of Willard A. Morris. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Washington, D.C. She was a graduate of Central High School in Washington, D.C., class of 1932.
Survivors include two daughters, Sally Towslee of Virginia Beach and Mary Christine Marks of Columbia, Md.; two sons, Henry T. Morris III of Columbia, Md., and W. Michael Morris of Virginia Beach; a brother, Harvey M. Heckman Jr. of Rockville, Md.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is handling arrangements. Any expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Washington, D.C., or to a favorite charity.
