Ruby H. Kahler, 59, a retired restaurant owner, died Feb. 8, 1995, in Plymouth, N.C.
Mrs. Kahler was born in Pocahontas, Va. She owned Ruby's Country Blue Restaurant in Ocean View and attended Gospel Assembly Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include her husband, Jack J. Kahler; two daughters, Janice Sadler of Carrollton, Va., and Deborah Williams of Fredericksburg, Va.; a son, Donald Sadler Jr. of Norfolk; a sister, Edith Steiger of St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Carl Harman of Falling Waters, W.Va.; and three grandchildren, Alyson and Deanne Williams and Donald Sadler III.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Pastor Thomas Lord. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
