Rosa M. ``Peggy'' Terrell, 70, of the 3600 block of Gateway Drive, Apt. 3B, died Feb. 8, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
Mrs. Terrell was born in Portsmouth. She was a member and choir member of Fourth Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Jacalyn Edwards, Diane C. Anderson and Sharon Lynn Coley, all of Portsmouth; two sons, Silas Terrell Jr., of Washington, D.C., and Melvin C. Terrell of Portsmouth; four sisters, Lorene Howell of East Orange, N.J., and Sarah L. Gambrell, Carrie M. Brown and Elsie M. Saunders, all of Portsmouth; a brother, Willie L. Payne of Portsmouth; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sons-in-law, Pearlee Anderson, Robert Edwards and Ernest Coley; an aunt, Catherine Brown of East Orange, N.J.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Fourth Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Charles Howell. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Monday.
