Winifred L. Wood, 66, of the 3900 block of High St., died Feb. 9, 1995, in Portsmouth.
She was a native of Pulaski, Va., and a member of Monumental United Methodist Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia W. Vess and husband Ronald, of Roanoke, Va.; three grandchildren, Bryan, Kevin and Deanna; and a long-time friend, Mary West Smith of Portsmouth.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. R. Beverly Watkins and the Rev. Raymond Edmonds. Burial will be private. Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
