The federal government announced Thursday several new contracts awarded to Hampton Roads companies: Science and Technology Corp. of Hampton won a $4.2 million contract from NASA's Langley Research Center to provide support services for a public-services program. Bailey Refrigeration Inc. of Virginia Beach won a $102,284 contract from the Military Sealift Command in Bayonne, N.J., for repairs to the refrigeration system on the USNS Saturn. Science and Technology also won a $2.5 million contract for engineering services from a NASA research center in Mississippi. Loral Aerospace Services of Chesapeake won a $175,344 contract to repair and maintain fleet combat training center simulators from the Naval Air Warfare Center's Training Systems Division in Orlando, Fla. Atlantic Protective Services of Virginia Beach won a $136,718 contract for security-guard systems from the Postal Service in Greensboro. by CNB
