GEORGE H. KERBER

George Harold Kerber, 82, of the 9500 block of Willow Court, died Feb. 11, 1995 in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Kerber was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and was the widower of Margaret Kerber. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer from the U.S. Navy after 23 years of service and was also retired from the Norfolk City Public School System where he was a carpenter. He was a member of the American Legion Post 327 and Fleet Reserve Association, Branch 60.

Survivors include one daughter, Gloria Kerber Eaton of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Jean White and Joseph Wilson, both of Norfolk; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 15, 1995 at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Terry Beck in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m.
