Michael Andrew White Sr., 67, of the 6400 block of Sewells Point Road, a retired heavy-duty truck driver, died Feb. 10, 1995, in DePaul Hospital of a heart attack.
Mr. White was born in Princess Anne County. He had retired from Asphalt Roads after 20 years and had been retired for four years. He was the widower of Daisy T. White and was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church. He was a deacon, usher and custodian of the church and was a member of the Senior Choir and the Male Chorus. He was predeceased by his parents, Gertrude Green White and Clarence White Sr.; three brothers, Clarence White Jr., Earl F. White Sr. and Ulysse White; and his grandparents, Charlotte Evans and Polly and Ginia White.
Survivors include a sister, Florine Smith; 23 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at noon Wednesday in Olive Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
