JOSEPHINE HOLLOMON CAHOON

Josephine Hollomon Cahoon, 61, a resident of Route 1, Belhaven, died Thursday at Pungo District Hospital in Belhaven.

She was born in Norfolk, Va., March 30, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Wilburn Leslie Hollomon and Devella Josephine Sawyer Hollomon. Mrs. Cahoon was a homemaker. She was married to Kinzie Cahoon, March 15, 1966, who survives.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Vickie M. Hollowell of Edenton and Mary Ann Cahoon of Belhaven; two sons, Wallace James Miller of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Wilburn Leslie Miller of Edenton; and nine grandchildren. Mrs. Cahoon was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Leland Hollomon.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Olive Church of Christ Cemetery, Route 1, Belhaven, conducted by the Rev. Melvin Miller. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Paul Funeral Home, Belhaven, and other times at the home of her daughter, Vickie M. Hollowell, 606 Sound Side Road, Edenton.

Arrangements are by Paul Funeral Home, Belhaven.
