John T. Hoey Jr., P.E., 65, of the 3600 block of Atlantic Ave., died Feb. 12, 1995, at his home.
Mr. Hoey, a professional engineer, was born in Detroit and was a 45-year employee with the Ford Motor Co. He was working as the site coordinator for the PN96 Program at the Norfolk Assembly Plant. He was a member of St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church and had served in the U.S. Navy. He was a professional engineer licensed in Michigan, Ohio, Missouri and New Jersey.
Survivors include his wife, Mary M. Hoey; one son, three daughters and three stepsons.
The body was sent to A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, Royal Oak, Mich., for services and burial. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, handled local arrangements.
