CCAIR Inc., an independent airline providing service as USAir Express reported higher earnings for the second quarter ended Dec. 31. Net income for the quarter was $196,625 or 3 cents per share, compared with a net loss of $596,885 or 9 cents per share, for the same quarter of 1993. Operating expenses for the quarter were down 11.3 percent compared with the same year-earlier period. The drop was attributed to reductions in aircraft leases and pilot pay. CCAIR will start new round-trip service Wednesday from Raleigh/Durham to Norfolk. (PR Newswire) by CNB
