Rufus Charles Goffigan Sr., of the 4700 block of Hook Lane, died Feb. 14, 1995.
Mr. Goffigan was born in Charles City. He was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church and was the widower of Berline Goffigan.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy G. Taylor; and four sons, Rufus C. Goffigan Jr., Allen Goffigan, Larry Goffigan and Michael Goffigan, all of Virginia Beach; a brother, John Goffigan of Suffolk; 13 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Charles H. Williams. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
