Arthur Joseph Hepler, Sr., 78, of the 1800 block of Broadfield Road, a retired administrator, died Feb. 14, 1995 in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Hepler was born in Houma, La. He retired in 1970 from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after 30 years and attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Faigoust Hepler; a daughter, Margaret H. Cordovana of Norfolk; a son, Arthur J. Hepler, Jr. of Annandale, Va.; four grandchildren, Julie C. Neifert of Chesapeake, Jean C. Thompson of Grafton and Brian J. and Christopher M. Hepler of Annandale, Va.; and two great-grandchildren, Jessica Claire Neifert and Joel Clayton Neifert, both of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Norfolk, by Father Lou Ruoff. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. Memorials to: Holy Trinity Catholic Church or Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
