FRANK A. DICKENS

Frank Alexander Dickens, 63, of the 300 block of Honaker Ave., died Feb. 13, 1995, in the VA Hospital, Hampton.

He was a native of Norfolk and was a retired groundskeeper for Norfolk State University with 11 years service. He was Baptist and was a Korean Army veteran. He was the son of the late Daisy Bell Snow Dickens and Lincoln Dickens Sr.

Survivors include three sisters, Rosa Allen of Pittsburg, Pa., Mildred Griggs of Norfolk, and Daisy Dickens of Bronx, N.Y.; two brothers, Lincoln Dickens Jr. of Richmond, Va., and James Dickens of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Hale Funeral Home, by the Rev. Rufus Jackson. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Hampton. A Wake will be held tonight at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. The family will assemble at the home of his sister, 5563 Brookville Road, Norfolk.
