Regarding ``A judicious move'' (editorial, Feb. 7): I am astounded by ``. . lawyers.''
The ``customers'' of our judges are not the lawyers; the ``customers'' are the citizens who appear before them as litigants and as criminal defendants.
To state that lawyers have taken the place of their clients, and are themselves the ``customers'' of the judiciary, is to describe a system which does not, and should not, exist.
