Thelma Grace Tarkington, 82, of the 1400 block of Rodgers St., died Feb. 18, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Tarkington was born in Edenton, N.C. She was a member of South Norfolk Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Aubrey A. Tarkington; a daughter, Joyce A. Tarkington of Chesapeake; a son, Aubrey D. Tarkington of Fairfax, Va.; a brother, L.C. Dale of Charleston, W.Va.; and two grandsons, Jeff Tarkington and Kendall Tarkington.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Roger Mardis. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
