Melvin Marie Fredericks, 68, of the 800 block of Riverbend Road, died Feb. 17, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Fredericks, a native of Dyerville, Tenn., had resided in the Hampton Roads area for almost 40 years. She retired as a tailor from Albano Cleaners in 1993.
Survivors include her daughter, Marie E. Craven of Norfolk; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Sandford, 417 Pelican Lane (Malibu area), Virginia Beach, Va. 23452. All flowers and donations to the Mel Fredericks fund should be sent to the address above.
