Julia Malinda ``Gail'' Manners, 50, of the 7600 block of Victory Drive, died Feb. 17, 1995, in Norfolk.
She was born in Elizabeth City, N.C., and was a member of Rock Church of Virginia Beach. She was assistant manager of George and Judy's Restaurant.
Survivors include two daughters, Kelly Myrie Graves of El Cajon, Calif., and Shelly Malinda Peirsol of Norfolk; a son, William Thomas Manners Jr. of Manhattan, N.Y.; her mother, Mildred Irene Gibbs of Norfolk; five sisters, Shirley Anchors of Chesapeake, Sissy Mantuano of Norfolk, Sugar Slade of Beaufort, S.C., Judy Parker of Virginia Beach and Beth Stevenson of Norfolk; four brothers, Eddie Waterman of Virginia Beach, Murdock Gibbs Jr. of Falls Church, Va., Rudolph Gibbs of Tupperlake, N.Y., and Cal Crisp of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Magnolia Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at 7615 Victory Drive, Apt. 93, at all other times. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
