Annie Maude Bazemore Moore, 70, of the 600 block of Matthew Court, died Feb. 19, 1995, in Obici Hospital.
She was a native of Bertie County, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Geneva Watson Bazemore. Mrs. Moore was retired from Planters and was a member of Greater Sweet Beulah Holiness Church, where she was Mother of the Church, and a member of the Gospel Choir, Missionary Circle, Missionary Choir, Pastors Aid Club and Senior Choir.
Survivors include two daughters, Fern Buck and Vanessa Copeland, both of Suffolk; three sons, Phillip Bazemore and Kelvin Bazemore, both of Chesapeake, and Gary Moore of Suffolk; two sisters, Dorothy Robinson of Newark, N.J., and Paulette Parker Bazemore of Baltimore; a brother, Tommy Bazemore of Baltimore; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; an aunt, Bessie Powell of Suffolk; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by a daughter, Denise G. Boone, and a sister, Helen M. Starks.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Greater Sweet Beulah Church by Dr. Madison G. Copeland. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. The family will receive friends at 601 Matthew Court, Suffolk, and at 1009 Lake Kennedy Drive, Suffolk. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
