MYRTLE G. NASH

Myrtle Gard Nash, 70, of Duck Road, Duck, N.C., died Tuesday, February 21, 1995 at her residence. Mrs. Nash was born in Duck and was a former resident of Norfolk, Va. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Nash was the daughter of the late Melton Gard and Mrs. Pearl Wright Gard and the widow of Orvin Lee Nash.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Nash Bray of Norfolk, Va.; a son, Michael L. Nash of Duck, N.C.; four grandchildren, Amy and Sara Bray of Norfolk, Eva Marie and Charles Edward Nash of Duck; a great-aunt, Eva R. Gard of Norfolk, Va.

A chapel service will be conducted on Thursday, February 23, 1995 at 2 p.m. in the Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo, by the Rev. Robert Bundy. Burial will be private at a later date. The family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Lung Association. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday and will receive friends immediately following services. Twiford's Funeral Home, Manteo, is in charge of arrangements.
