DR. JAMES D. HAGUE

Dr. James Donald Hague, 88, a resident of Bay Colony in Virginia Beach and recently moved to Marian Manor, died Feb. 20, 1995, in Virginia Beach.

Dr. Hague was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and was the widower of Olive Warner Hague. He was a retired captain in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps and was a veteran of World War II and Korea. Following his retirement in 1970 from the Navy, Dr. Hague worked for the Commonwealth of Virginia as director of the Virginia Beach Mental Health Clinic. He retired from that position in 1976. He attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and was a member of the Cavalier Country Club.

Survivors include three sons, James Donald Hague Jr. and Michael Arnold Hague, both of St. Thomas, V.I., and Bruce Eliott Hague of Richmond, Va.; two grandsons, Leigh Warner Hague of Richmond and Jeffrey Blanton Hague of Virginia Beach; a granddaughter, Jill Massey Hague of Alexandria, Va.; and one great-granddaughter, Taylor Leigh Hague of Richmond.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Princess Anne Memorial Park Mausoleum by Pastor Gary R. Lyerly. Burial will be in the mausoleum with military honors. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1489 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451.
