VOYAGER VISIT

Bryan Peterson, who took a diesel-powered 24-foot Zodiac Inflatable on a 40,000-mile voyage on soy bean oil and sunlight, will be the guest speaker at 7 p.m., Monday, at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy.

In search for alternative type fuels, Peterson used soy bean oil and sunlight as his primary source of power during a two-year voyage. He and his Zodiac, ``Sunrider,'' will be in the local area for several days.

This Environmental Program is presented on behalf of all sponsors to raise the awareness as to what alternative fuels mean to our fragile environment.

Peterson's trip is being coordinated by the Chuckatuck Ruritan Club with assistance from several local sponsors, including the Suffolk School Board, Crittenden, Eclipse and Hobson Ruritan Club; Nansemond County Farm Bureau, and Friends of the Environment. by CNB
