Alice Carol Leonard was born on Christmas Day 1905 in Grove City, Ohio. She died Feb. 18, 1995, at age 89 in Virginia Beach, Va.
Survivors include a daughter, Janet and her husband, Dick Pensyl of Chesapeake; a grandson, David Pensyl and his wife, Deborah; two granddaughters, Nancy Pensyl and Susan Pensyl Lea and her husband, Joe and their four sons, Mrs. Leonard's great-grandsons. Mrs. Leonard is also survived by a sister, Marjorie Swain.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, 1995, at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, at 2 p.m. by Dr. James Nowell of Kempsville Presbyterian Church. Friends may join the family at the funeral home for visitation one hour prior to the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kempsville Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
