Wayne Anthony Hemsath, 64, of the 100 block of Southend Road, died Thursday, February 23, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Hemsath was the son of the late Elmer W. and Mary Elizabeth Harris Hemsath. He was the owner and operator of J's Janitorial Service in Va. Beach and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannin Hutton Hemsath; 2 daughters, Sharon Rae Van Ostrand and Elizabeth H. Dudley, both of Va. Beach; 3 sons, Jerry W. Hemsath of Erlanger, KY, Terry A. Hemsath of Chesapeake and Raymond ``Ray'' W. Hemsath of Va. Beach; a sister, Judy Ann Mueller of Independence, KY; 3 brothers, Elmer W. Hemsath Jr. of Knotts Island, Ronnie Hemsath and Jerome D. Hemsath, both of Walton, KY; 10 grandchildren, Tommy, Chris, Tonya, Ericia, Christy, Matthew, Regina, Anthony, Christel and Geoff and 2 great grandchildren, Christina and Justin.
A service will be held Saturday, February 25, 1995, at 1:00 PM, in Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Brewer, Rev. Joseph French and Rev. Frank Jennings officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at Twiford Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge. Memorial donations may be made to the Christian Application Project.
