ON THE MOVE: YARD SALE TO BENEFIT THE HOMELESS

Enterprise Mortgage Corp. of Virginia Beach is sponsoring a ``Humanity For the Homeless'' yard sale from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 11 and from 1 to 4 p.m. March 12 at 535 Viking Drive near the main Beach post office.

Proceeds will benefit the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center. The sale will include furniture, clothing, household goods, office supplies, pictures, lamps and more.

Donors include Baymark Construction, Arbour Construction, Benchmark Building Corp., Remax/Central, Carole-Ann Construction, Dragas Homes and Enterprise Mortgage. Anyone wishing to make a donation or to volunteer may contact Maggie Deason at 486-4111 or 552-6885.

Glenn James is the new president of the Hampton Roads Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Other new officers are Charles Phillips, vice president; Joseph Street, secretary, and Kim Tate, treasurer.

The chapter will offer the following courses and seminars this year: Standards of Professional Practice, March 20-23; Virginia Appraisal Law, march 23; Money Market and its Impact on Real Estate, Aug. 4, and federal banking appraisal regulations, Oct. 27.
