Albert Joseph Montgomery Sr., 63, of the 200 block of Chesapeake Ave., died Feb. 25, 1995.
Mr. Montgomery, a native of old South Norfolk, Va., was an electrician and a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice M. Montgomery; a daughter, Eunice M. Mengelt; two sons, Albert J. Montgomery Jr. and Thomas M. Montgomery, all of Portsmouth; his mother, Mary Creekmore Montgomery of Tarboro, N.C.; two sisters, Zilta Curry of Crewe, Va. and Almeter Gooch of Tarboro; a brother, Arnold D. Montgomery of Chesapeake; a son-in-law, Harry D. Mengelt Jr.; and two grandchildren, Sheila L. Montgomery and Brandi M. Mengelt.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Foster Funeral Home by the Rev. Joseph Slowik. Burial will be in Portsmouth Catholic Cemetery. Friends may join the family Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
