Garland Crockett Hartman, 77, of 1460 B Street Ext., died Saturday, at Craven Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Hartman was a member and served as a deacon at the Merry Hill Baptist Church in Merry Hill, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Sallie Wiggins Hartman; two daughters, Brenda Cowand of Merry Hill and Vivian Gail Wood of Hampton; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Greenleaf Memorial Park by the Rev. Jack Hinton. The family will receive friends at the residence. Arrangements by Pollock-Wells & Best Funeral Home, New Bern.
