EUNICE E. CRAWFORD

A lady of dignity, Eunice Elizabeth Crawford, of 1577 Miltate Avenue, went into the presence of the Lord Feb. 24, 1995, 11:40 p.m. in Sentara Leigh Hospital.

Mrs. Crawford was born in Perquimans, North Carolina.

She was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Gwendolyn Elizabeth Johnson of Norfolk; son, Richard Gerald Fox and wife Shirley of Rainelle, W.Va.; stepson, Emmett Dean and wife Elaine of Minneapolis, seven grandchildren: Carol Ann Garcia of Richmond, Jeanette (Lucky) Biggers and Jerry Johnson of Norfolk, Staran Fox of Rainelle, W.Va., Lemonda Fox of Norfolk, Sharon Gifford of Minneapolis, Carolyn Dean of Madison, Wisc.; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; many beloved nieces and nephews and a host of devoted friends and relatives.

Services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m. at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, 2430 Azalea Garden Road, with the Rev. Larry Davis of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church and former pastor, the Rev. W.B. Hughes of Wilson, N.C., officiating.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 1995, at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 818 Norview Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23509. Final resting place, Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, Va. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
