JAMES C. WARD

James Campbell Ward, 42, of the 500 block of Pier Court, died Sunday, at his residence. Mr. Ward was born in Norfolk and is the son of John Edward Ward Jr. and Gladys ``Jean'' Campbell Ward of Norfolk.

Mr. Ward attended Bluefield College and graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in computer science. He was employed with Unisys Corporation, Norfolk, for the past 15 years as a computer analyst. Mr. Ward was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Norfolk, and the Lynnhaven Masonic Lodge 220.

Other survivors include two sisters, Jackie Ward Fulcher and Jeanne Ward Tomlinson, both of Virginia Beach; two brothers, John Tillman Ward of Holland, Va., and Jay Robert Ward of Virginia Beach; eight nieces and nephews, Steven R. Ward, Christopher E. Ward, Lisa Fulcher, David Fulcher, Kamie Parker, Becky Parker, Jonathan Ward and Breanna Ward.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by Dr. Emmett W. Diggs. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
