Bravo for Pat Robertson! It is about time someone stood up to homosexual sinners and refused to give them the time of day.
I'm glad he has no interest in ``discussing the merits of homosexuality'' with Mel White. Far be it for any God-loving Christian to soil himself by discussing the holy Scriptures with such sinful creatures as gays.
Jesus would have done well to pay attention to Robertson's example. Our world would certainly be different if Jesus had learned from Pat to shun liars, thieves, lepers and prostitutes or, more commonly, sinners - people who commit sin.
Imagine, actually sitting down at the same table to eat and share fellowship with sinners! Shame on Jesus. He would have done well to have learned from scholars such as Robertson and picked up a stone and thrown it when confronted with the woman caught in adultery. Then he probably would have lived a full and happy life.
He crucified himself instead by being so tolerant and accepting. He probably thought that he could actually change sinners. Ridiculous!
Besides, Jesus obviously failed, because sinners are everywhere still looking for attention.
Jesus should have had his disciples build him a temple (much like Regent) and put walls around it with guards so that he wouldn't be disturbed by or confronted with the world's undesirables.
Then Jesus could have taught Christians the Bible, and the law, and how to live and love one another and be separate from and remain untouched by the world.
When, oh, when, are Christians going to learn to follow the example of great leaders such as Pat Robertson instead of trying to live as Christ did?
