Interesting paradox:
Staff writer Elizabeth Simpson berates Mike Royko (Feb. 19) for his sexist column of a week or so ago.
Columnist Stephanie Salter (Another View, Feb. 19) notes that Royko, ``a genius, then and now,'' pointed out sexism in a column he wrote 25 years ago. ``Gloria Steinem couldn't have made the point better,'' says Salter.
I guess we all have our lapses, depending on the daily climate of our lives.
