Grace Barrett Bristow, 77, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1995, at the East Pavilion.
Mrs. Bristow, a native of Southampton County, was the widow of Willie Olander Bristow and was the daughter of the late Mills and Josie Faison Barrett. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Withie B. Billups of Black Creek and Delores B. Parker of Sedley; one son, Emerson B. Bristow of Hampton; one sister, Doris B. Drewry and one brother, Mills Barrett Jr., both of Zuni; nine grandchildren, Daryl Billups, Douglas Billups, Cheryl Parker, Sharon Barnes, Wade Bristow, Dana Bristow, Will Bristow, Jeff Bristow and Jim Bristow; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Billups and Wesley Barnes; four stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. Mrs. Bristow was predeceased by one son, Donald B. Bristow.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Black Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Wayne Underwood. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church or to a favorite charity. Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
