LEROY A. WEBSTER

Leroy A. ``Jerry'' Webster, 82, of the 200 block of Derby Road, a retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer, died Feb. 28, 1995, in Portsmouth.

Mr. Webster was born in Baltimore and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was a dedicated Christian. He was certified by the Tiffany Touch Stained Glass Studio and was well known in this area for his stained glass work.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie W. Webster; three daughters, Rosalie Edwards of Portsmouth, Joan Williams of Chesapeake and Betsy Witcher of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, James Overton of Chesapeake; a brother, John Webster of Satellite Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service and entombment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Meadowbrook Memorial Park Mausoleum by the Rev. Allen L. Dooley. Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be sent to Temple Baptist Church Building Fund.
