Clifford Drake of the 1200 block of Colonial Ave., a film processor, died Feb. 28, 1995, in the Hampton Veterans Hospital.
Mr. Drake was born in Norfolk and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Norfolk. He was employed with Qualex and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam era. He attended Norfolk State University.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Drake of Virginia Beach; his father, Clayton O. Drake of Norfolk; two sisters, Berthenia Cromwell of Norfolk and Cherryl Belton of Virginia Beach; a brother, Colbert Drake of Virginia Beach; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Shiloh Baptist Church by Dr. John H. Foster. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Friday and will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday. The family will assemble at 1216 Glyndon Drive in the College Park section at 11 a.m. Saturday for the processional. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
