William A. Clark, 85, died March 1, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Clark was born in Point Harbor, N.C., son of the late Charles E. and Odessa Barns Clark. He retired in 1970 as a supervisor from the Naval Supply Center, Norfolk, Storage and Shipping Department, after 32 years. He was a member of Corinthian Masonic Lodge (NU)266, AF & AM; Waverly Hunting Club; National Association of Retired Federal Employees Chapter (NU)1682; and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine Adams Clark; a daughter, Jean Hughes of Chesapeake; a son, William E. Clark of Gautier, Miss.; five sisters, Lola Cranmore of Hertford, N.C., Wilma Kulikowski of Virginia Beach, Ruth Williams and Eloise Parker, both of Chesapeake, and Vernell Perkins of Norfolk; three granddaughters, Wendi Meadows of Bisbee, Ariz., Julie Nelsen of Chesapeake and Anna Clark of Reston, Va.; and three great-grandchildren, Joie, Matthew and George Jr.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by Pastor Ernest L. Trueblood. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the Blind and Visually Impaired, Ltd., 4520 Holland Office Park, Suite 417, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452. Masonic rites will be accorded at the funeral home following the funeral service.
