DAVID B. TAYLOR

David B. Taylor, 69, of the 600 block of Chapel Lake Drive, died March 2, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mr. Taylor served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years and retired as a chief. He also retired from the Virginia State Police, as a lieutenant, after 20 years. He was a native of Rocky Mount, N.C.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Taylor; two daughters, Tina Barker of Virginia Beach and Tona Brown of Norfolk; two sons, Ronnie Tuttle of Virginia Beach and Neil Tuttle of Maryville, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Bill Kincaid. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 6 p.m. in the funeral home, and at 600 Chapel Lake Drive, Apt. 102, on Sunday evening. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
