Hazel D. Sterne, 79, of the 5600 block of Tidewater Drive, died March 3, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Sterne was born in Norfolk. She was a member of Coleman Place Presbyterian Church; Women of the Moose (NU)157; Virginia Chapter (NU)22, Order of the Eastern Star; and was the widow of Luther Clyde Sterne.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lu Glindeman of Norfolk and Patricia E. Giesen of Waynesboro, Va.; a sister, Mildred V. Powell of Norfolk; four granddaughters, Kimberly Pell of Richmond, Beth Holmes and Amy Elliott, both of Waynesboro, Va., and Heidi Roberson of Virginia Beach; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Larry C. Miles. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and at all other times at the home of Mary Lu Glindeman, 3133 Sunny Court in Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to Coleman Place Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
