An ordinance accepting and appropriating $15,000 from the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles for the ``Drive 55 Program.'' First reading
An ordinance appropriating $21,944 for the hiring of police officers associated with the Cops Ahead Program. First reading
A resolution approving the Southeastern Public Service Authority's curbside and recycling expansion program. Approved 7-0
A resolution to declare city property surplus.

A resolution in support of the federal legislation pertaining to waste flow control. Approved 7-0
Motion to establish a City Council work session for March 15 at 5:30 p.m., unless canceled. Approved 7-0
Motion to establish a City Council Community Meeting for Wednesday, March 29, at 7 p.m. at the new Suffolk campus of Paul D. Camp Community College, Kenyon Road. Approved 7-0
Motion to schedule a special, called meeting Monday at 8 a.m. in City Council chambers. Approved, 7-0
