Ruby Ash- ley Brown, 81 of Punta Gorda, Florida died March 3, 1995 at her residence.
She was born March 8, 1913 in Jacksonville, Florida and has been a winter residence in Punta Gorda for 8 years coming from Chesapeake, VA. She was a member of the South Nor- folk Virginia Order of the Eastern Star and the Raleigh Heights Baptist L Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Bobbie Brown Mize of Punta Gorda and a son, Robert of Punta Gorda; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Rest-H lawn Memorial Gardens in Port Char- lotte. Officiating will be Rev. Denman A. Jones from the Cleveland United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. Monday at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Kays- Ponger/Royal Palm Funeral Homes.
