George L Wayne Bone, 91, a resident of Camelot Hall Nursing Home, died March 2 in Virginia Beach. He was born in L Moundsville, West Va., and was the husband of the late Doris H. Bone of Norfolk. He was retired from the Na- val Supply Center.
Mr. Bone was a 1927 graduate of West Virginia University, where he was on the football team and president of his fraternity, Kappa Sigma. He was an Army veteran of WWII, serv- ing with the rank of Captain.
He is survived by a son, George F. Bone, a daughter-in-law, Sandra P. Bone, of Norfolk; a step-son, Thomas J. Davis of Colorado Springs, Co.; and two grandchildren, Jonathan N. Bone of Richmond and Brigette E.P. Bone of Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conduct- ed on March 10 in Moundsville, West Va. The family will be at 6037 L Eastwood Ter., Norfolk. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, P.O. Box 2156, Norfolk, Va. 23501-2156. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
